Introducing Sundowner...
Continuing Comberbach village's annual fun run tradition, this summer evening running event includes two races on the paths and trails of picturesque Marbury Park. Besides a 5k adult and 1k kids' fun run, there will be a BBQ, bar, cake stall and music, making it a fun and enjoyable evening out for all the family. All proceeds will go to The Stroke Association - the charity nominated by this year's Rose Queen. The race starts and finishes near the ranger's office by the main entrance to Marbury Park. The race is gun timed - results will be published online after the race.
Timings
Registration opens at 5:30pm
Children's 1k: under 8s 6:15pm, 8s and over 6:30pm
Adults' 5k: 7:00pm
Entries
Pre-entry via this site: £8 for adults; £5 for children before 9 April 2026
After 9 April entry increases to £9 for adults; £6 for children
No entries on the night

1k: 1st, 2nd, 3rd U8 girl; 1st, 2nd, 3rd U12 girl; 1st, 2nd, 3rd U8 boy; 1st, 2nd, 3rd U12 boy;

Family prize (discretionary): top family members across both races
Medal for all finishers of both races.
Dogs on leads / canicross welcome.
